Document surfaces and exclusions
Attach a marked plan or photographs identifying driveways, public frontage, entrances, ramps, stairs and loading areas. Ask about compacted tire tracks, street-plow ridges, roof snow and any excluded surfaces. The accepted agreement should explain what remains the owner’s responsibility and how additional work can be requested.
Access, authorization and reporting
Identify an authorized decision-maker and a site contact. Arrange secure access directly; do not enter alarm codes into this enquiry form. Ask how parked vehicles, locked gates or deliveries affect clearing. Confirm what records are supplied and how disputed or incomplete work is reviewed before an invoice is approved.
Cancellation, damage and insurance questions
Read cancellation notice, renewal, payment and damage-reporting terms before signing. Request relevant insurance documentation directly from the contractor and have the appropriate person review it. Calgary Grading does not verify a contractor’s coverage merely by storing an enquiry, and this checklist does not replace professional review of your contract.
A comparable proposal checklist
Compare the same addresses, surfaces, dates, triggers, timing, ice scope, hauling rules and exclusions across proposals. Keep the contractor’s written acceptance. A request submitted here is a planning step, not a maintenance agreement or reservation of equipment. Our team will only discuss a referral when approved coverage and your sharing consent are available.
